A New Mexico prosecutor on Thursday charged actor Alec Baldwin and movie armourer Hannah Gutierrez Reed with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Rust film set in October 2021.
Assistant director David Halls reached a plea deal in the case, prosecutors said.
Baldwin was pointing a pistol at Hutchins when the gun went off, killing her and wounding the director, Joel Souza.
