Canadian industry groups are warning that incentives in the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act could jeopardize Canada’s competitive position in emerging renewable and high-tech industries. “I think it would be a mistake to focus on the competitive risks to Canada or any other country as a result of the Inflation Reduction Act,” said U.S. Ambassador to Canada David Cohen.
