Ottawa police say they are responding to an “active” incident on the street in front of Parliament Hill where trucks that took part in a demonstration over the weekend continue to blockade roads.
“Police are responding to an active incident on Wellington,” said Ottawa Police spokesperson Const. Paramjit Singh said in an email. “No further information available at this time as the incident is ongoing.”
It is not immediately clear what the nature is of the incident, or whether anyone is injured.
More to come.
